Yesterday I got in a heated discussion with one of my co-workers about the crystal skulls (the "real" ones not the Indiana Jones ones). The new Indiana Jones movie has allowed this quiet mythology to enter mainstream. I think this was there purpose in using the crystal skulls because theres just enough controversy over them to create a buzz on the internets.
By controversy I mean a bunch of new age babel with no real clear examples or proof of any of the claims being made. Its all "ancient myth" this and "legend says" that.
